Fishing with Woelfle Family

My Carlson colleague and friend is down in the FL Keys this weekend with her family. So, today we spent some time on the water with them - great day!!

We were able to pull together enough fish for dinner (Curt cooked and it was fabulous), but the cold temperatures have really done a number on our marine life. The cold front that we have been experiencing has caused the water temperature to drop 30+ degrees. This has left 1000's of fish stunned and floating on the surface.

It was an interesting education on the impact our environment has on living creatures.

On our way in we saw several people cleaning up dead fish on the beach...

And in our canal alone - 100's of dead fish... All the white spots in the water.
