HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Awww Mom - do I have to wear this silly outfit??

He did refuse the hat that completed the "monster" look.

We headed out to trick-or-treat with friends in a neighborhood to the north.... the warm weather created a real party atmosphere with everyone in their yards and people filling the streets.

Grandma Looney was in charge of Cooper...

Sawyer was unsure at the first house, but once he got a "prize" in his pumpkin he was fired up to get on to the next house.

All the excitement caused Sawyer to crash in the car --- not sure what happened to his hair?!!

Cooper is exhausted as well...

However, the boys did rally for a "brothers" photo shoot before climbing into bed.

Settling In

We have been home a few hours and both boys are settling in... Cooper seems to be liking his home...

He is very relaxed...

Love his feet!!

He napped in his crib very well!

And Sawyer loved Cooper's bouncy seat and swing --- managed to get up in the swing all on his own...

Heading Home

We are ready to head home!!

Cooper wore a special outfit identifying himself as the "little brother" of the Slonim family.

He also used a special blanket from Grandma Loonie with his inutero nickname.

Sawyer, in his "big brother" shirt, agreed that Cooper should come home with us.

Our paperwork was finalized...

And we were on our way....

The boys in the backseat

We made it safe and were VERY excited to be home!

Sponge Bath

I accompanied Cooper to his sponge bat this evening in the nursery -- the little guy did not like it one bit, but he smelled SOOOO good following!!

A video of his cry
The bath took all of his energy... You can also see in these next two pictures his infant rash -- didn't want you to think he was in a brawl in the nursery. This rash should be gone within a week or so.

For the Birds

The pond on the Hospital property is full of birds that love a snack from passersby...
Curt and Sawyer had a lot of fun feeding!

More Visitors

Cooper was popular today...

Virgina and her sister visited -- wish I had pictures of this!!

Dom and Laura also came for a visit

Sawyer stopped in to hold his brother for a few seconds...

And more importantly to have a juice box from the nurse

Bilirubin Strikes...

OUT!!

It was thought that Cooper may have some bilirubin to fight off, but his numbers came back good. Yeah!!

He is all snuggled in for a good nights rest.

Visitors and Stuff

Sawyer joined me for breakfast this morning -- he really just helped by eating my breakfast.

The Hammerschlag's came to visit the new baby... wonder if they caught the "baby bug"?

Mommy enjoys a snuggle with Cooper

Sawyer lays down with Cooper and plays a bit

LOVE this one!!

Sawyer loved all of the buttons in the hospital room
