Ultrasound: 6 weeks, 4days

We had our final appointment at the Fertility Clinic today.
We are 6 weeks, 4 days pregnant.
The white mark in the black uterus below is our baby.
Pretty cute, huh? Curt refers to it as the "packing peanut".

We received a healthy report.
My cervix has closed and my uterus is expanding as it is suppossed to.
The baby is actually measuring 6 weeks, 3 days - so right on track.
We were able to see the heart beat as well as hear it - AMAZING!!!!
The heartbeat was strong at 118 beats / minute.

We will begin seeing our OB on September 15th.

To date I have been feeling OK.
I have only thrown up a couple of times, but feel like I could quite a bit.

I don't have any crazy cravings - hot fudge sundae's for breakfast were part of my youth, so that's seems normal.

I have learned how powerful my nose is... I can't ever recall being able to smell through walls.
I also learned at a young age that boys are smelly - boy are they!!!
And red wine no longer has the aromatic appeal it used to.

I am able to eat all food, but pork.
I mistakenly tried that on Sunday night, but the little one let me know that wasn't OK.
Curtie thought it made sense due to the Jewish heritage.
