Oh Baby! Manatee

The Manatee's have moved back into our canals (yeah!) and with them is this darling baby. I wish the water had been a bit clearer to get better images, but you can see the size difference. I think the face looks like a bear =)

This is the smallest manatee any of us have seen -- after a little "google" I learned that most calves are birthed at approx 48 inches in length -- this baby wasn't far off that mark.

Very exciting! Sawyer was fascinated!! Cooper slept through it...
