last couple of days have been very challenging!!
Sawyer and I have not been able to find our
breast feeding groove.
This morning I had a lactation consultant
come out to the house to help...
And help she did!! Sawyer is a bit tongue-tied.
So, it was not something either of us were
doing "worng" rather it was his physical inability.
We learned new positions to help him over-
come, but have also made an appointment
with a pediatric dentist for further evaluation
and likely the procedure to cut his tongue loose!!
Everything else that happened today seems
so minor, but I've included some pictures.
Curtie was out fishing again today, so we tried
to capture some moments...
Sawyer stretching out on the floor
(he loves to lay on his side and rolls back and forth
from one side to the other - so far the momentum
hasn't rolled him right over)
Auntie Kori finding some snuggle
time between feedings
Neil took a moment to hold Sawyer
following their day of sharking
And just before dinner "Team Yellow" put
Sawyer's swing together
The team leader working it for the camera
was told it would certainly hold Sawyer!!
All is well here at the Slonim household...
we are all healthy, recovering, and finding
wonderful delight in our new lives as three.
