Lesson on Shallow Water

Our friend Jeff got stuck on a flat with his buddies while fishing this afternoon. Lucky for him he was "walking distance" from shore -- food and water! Unfortunately, he had to wait for the tide to finish going out and then for it to come back in.... those boys had a long wait ahead of them. But I thought I would capture the moment....

His buddies thick in mud and ooze on their way to get "supplies" so they could last the duration...




And they head back...


They did make it off safe when the water came back in.

Play Date with Dax

Sawyer had a play date at the beach today over lunch with his buddy Dax.
It was so much fun to watch the two of them interact.
Sawyer kept trying to sit on Dax's lap... very funny.

GM's Final FL Night

The weather up North has warmed enough that GM has started her journey back to MN.
We played and had dinner with her last night to soak up those final moments.
Sawyer is not going to know what to do with himself tomorrow morning without his coffee routine with her... And she was pretty certain she didn't know what she was going to do without him!

Sawyer played with Uncle DJ - they love to make music with the maraca's together.

Sawyer then demonstrated for us the open and close of the patio doors.... he is so smart!

A final whirl with GM's glass TV cabinet doors... We are in agreement that he has had success with this interest as he has stopped pinching his fingers!

And then it was time for dinner...

I realize that when I am away from home the Blog becomes quiet....
I am also trying to get Curt to take pictures while I'm gone -- more work to be done!!

I got home last night and have had so much fun with Sawyer! I think that he grew overnight - he seems like such a bigger boy this morning. See what you think....

Our new friend Joe has been down filming sharks with Curt for the past several weeks. Sawyer and Joe have really bonded =) Joe loves to take pictures of his "Aryan Prince".

Croc Hunting

We had a bit of an adventure today. There is a Crocodile living in the waters a couple of canals over so, Chad Mason Dixon Wangen took us on a sight-seeing cruise. We were able to get some decent footage.

Sawyer enjoyed the rocks back at Chad's dock.

Thought this was pretty cute of my two guys!
