Sunset Cruise with Ultralight Float Plane

We were out for a sunset cruise this evening as was our
neighbor with his Ultralight Float Plane.

He took Erik Bender up with him to capture some aerial
shots of us...

Gray's First Pool Swim and Sunset

The Knutson's are here for a week to enjoy
some sunshine and fun!!

Gray had his first swim in a pool and
he loved it!!



He also went out on the boat for sunset and
dinner... the waves eventually rocked him
to sleep.




His eyes cuaght some birds flying

overhead.

Fishing with Sammy

Curtie and Sammy spent most of
today out on the water.

Sammy nabbed the big fish... a Gag Grouper.

Valentines and New Food

While Sophi was visiting she discovered
that she LOVED shrimp and Banana Bread
at Lazy Days.

She and Curtie walked the beach and found
a lucky sea bean.


On Valentines Day Sophi received a beautiful
bouquet of flowers from the Captain.


And during our Valentines Day dinner she
discovered that she didn't really like Lobster,
but she really really loves stone crab!!

Sunset BBQ

We had a BBQ out on the boat to watch
the sun go down.

Sophi is enjoying a cupcake that we
made earlier in the day.

Sophi's Dolphin Encounter

Sophi and Grandma O. had an exciting Disney
vacation followed by a few days in Islamorada!!

Sophi had a dream of touching a real Dolphin
and it just so happened that our good friend Dan
is a Dolphin trainer at the "Dolphin Research Center".

Dan was able to arrange a private "encounter" for
Sophi. Below are the pictures of our fun visit...

Sophi was able to touch the dolphin, Talon, learn
about him, and give him commands to make him
do tricks.

29 Weeks

I know I still have a couple months to go,
but I am feeling HUGE!!

Kid Kennel

As some of you know our patio has gates on both
ends (one end towards the driveway / street and
the other towards the dock/water). But today
we put up the third gate that leads to the staircase
and side yard - an official kennel for the child
when he starts moving on his own.

It will also create a nice play area.

Nursery

We have been builiding the nursery in our
minds for some time now, but things are
slowly starting to come together....

The paint colors we have chosen are on the
walls in various places so we could get a feel
for them... we love them!!

Below is a picture, Curt is holding the
babies quilt next to the colors.
The chair rail will be painted white.


And the furniture arrived today!!
However it will remain in storage until
the last of company leaves at the end of
the month. We did put the quilt in the
crib for pictures...
