Gobble Gobble
Happy Thanksgiving All!!
Curt and I hosted our first Thanksgiving this year.
We had 10 of our Island Friends over for the feast.
Each person made a contribution to the meal and
we had such a fun day together!
We had an early afternoon visit from four manatees.
I thought i would include pictures of them...
We tried to scrub their barnacles, but they preferred
the Apples and water from the hose.
Ice with your drink?
Our long table for the feast...

Full Anatomy Ultrasound
We had the full anatomy ultrasound today.
Happy to report that there were ten fingers, ten toes.
Our son is growing.... He is up to 9 oz!!
HUGE BOY... from the books we have and the items
I read on-line he is really advanced in the weight department.
Our OB is curious to know what we are feeding him!!
I have only gained 6 lb so far - as my OB put it - I am ALL BABY!!
Thought we would include some photo's from today's shoot.
Heart rate was 145 bpm
Grandma Oleson was with us for today's ultrasound and
so he gave her a wave "hello"
Leg and foot action.... Does his foot look large??
And the profile shot... I think he's pretty cute, we'll keep him!
Also happy to report that my cervix is still closed - YEAH!!
We need it to stay that way for another 6 weeks to put
us in the clear.
They also noted that my placenta was sitting low, but not
placenta previa so they will continue to monitor that.
Also, forgot to mention that he measured 18 weeks + 1 day -
so he is back ahead of schedule by a day.

We are having a BOY!!!
We had an ultrasound today to check cerivcal length -
all looks good.
And the Ultrasound Tech asked us if we would like to
know the sex if she was able to see appropriate body
parts.... of course we would!!!
Here is the play by play....
I'm lying on the table with phone in hand to call my
sister - she wanted a front row seat....
She told us the babies knees were together.
She jostled by belly a bit to get the baby to move.
Nurse: It's a boy! Congratulations!
Curt does the obnoxious fist pump and yells out "YES!"
Curt: Call your sister
Kelli: I want her to double-check first
Boy parts blown up!

Fall Apple Orchard Adventure
We spent the day with Grandpa Larry / Dad
today and had such fun!!
The day started out a bit strange with a vist from a
Halloween monster that delivered baskets of goodies....
We still haven't figured that out!!
We then went to Apple Jack Orchards
out in Delano, MN. The pictures below
certainly capture our fun!!
Sophi on "hay" slide.
Signe too.
The girls waiting patiently for their
turn to ride the ponies.
Sophi traveling through a hollowed out tree...
Our two little apples.
The "Cow Train"
Our Fall Family Photo
Curt and Signe in the Corn Maze
Kori and Dad
Curt and Signe with the "Apple Gun"
We followed up the Orchard with a DQ stop on the
way back to Kori's house. And just when you would have
thought we had eaten enough we ordered Chinese
food and sat around a campfire in the backyard.
GREAT DAY!!!

Celebrating Reid's Birthday
In lieu of a Birthday gift Reid wanted to spend an evening
with Curt and I while we were home.
The three of us spent the evening at Dave & Busters.
We had a yummy dinner followed by all sorts
of video games. Reid was particularily good at "Tennis"
and "Deal or No Deal".
We had such a fun night!
Blowing out candles - we sang to him!
Fun surprise to have Sammy join.
